Breaking News: Zillow Agrees to Acquire Trulia

Debra Wellins Trulia has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Zillow.  The agreement stipulates a 3.5 billion stock-for stock transaction approved by the Boards of Directors of both companies and is expected to close in 2015. Both companies will operate as separate and distinct brands.  At closing, Trulia CEO Pete Flint will remain as CEO of Trulia but report to Zillow CEO Spencer Rascoff.  Rascoff and an additional member of Trulia's Board will also join Zillow's board, which will oversee the combined... Making a Difference in Haiti

Children   The Valdivia family just returned from Haiti, where they volunteered for the past two summers at a dental clinic sponsored by Hands Together of the Palm Beaches (HTPB). A Shocker – Citizens Insurance Approves Rate Reduction

Debra Wellins Citizens Property Insurance Corp. Board of Governors approved an overall average reduction of 2.9 percent statewide for personal residential policyholders. Single family homeowners will see an average drop of 3.2 percent and personal and commercial rates will decrease by 1 percent. These recommendations, however, still must be approved by the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation before they take effect.
