Key Biscayne

The Village of Key Biscayne  is located six miles from the mainland on a natural barrier island that arches gracefully east over the four mile long Rickenbacker Causeway and over Virginia Key to an exclusive tropical island paradise.  It is bordered to the North by Crandon Park, to the south by Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, to the west by Biscayne Bay and to the east by the Atlantic Ocean.

Key Biscayne is a world-class resort community, premier vacation destination and a tranquil and private residential community of ocean-front condominiums, townhomes, modest single family residences as well as spectacular waterfront estates of various architectural styles.  In 2015, it ranked # 69 in  Bloomberg with an average family income of $216,000.

There are nineteen thousand seasonal and year round residents who enjoy excellent schools, lovely parks, well maintained public areas, bike paths, libraries, the security of a vigilant police and fire department and, of course, many miles of protected state and city owned white sand beaches.

Fortunately, much of the seven mile long and two mile wide Key is preserved by attentive stewardship of its pristine natural environment and protected from large-scale future development.
