They call it “A concept of life” and I call it delish. My gang had dinner here a few nights ago at this Asian fusion hot spot in Midtown (but where else these days). Besides absolutely loving the washing machine counter and cool vibe, the wait staff adorned lab coats inspiring in-vivo experimentation of their menu.
We had a fantastic variety of small plates, my favorite being the Vietnamese Pork Rolls served with lettuce, mint and a phenomenal dipping sauce. I would return just to have these and not share a single bite. The Green Tea Crab Rangoon with a Thai sweet chili sauce was excellent as was the Mamaliga with Foie Gras. We shared the Shrimp Dumpling Soup with spinach, scallion and fried garlic that really hit the spot on this very cold Miami night.
The Malaysian Lamb Chops and Asian Honey Duck Leg were beautifully plated and fantastic. The Bangkok 3 Flavors Tempura Fish was too sweet for my palate. The fish was plentiful and cooked perfectly with a nice tempura batter but the Thai chili sauce, classically super sweet, had a canned tomato flavor that none of us cared for.
